حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا قُدَامَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَامِرِيَّ عَنْ جَسْرَةَ قَالَتْ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ قَالَتْ دَخَلَتْ عَلَيَّ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ مِنْ الْبَوْلِ فَقُلْتُ كَذَبْتِ فَقَالَتْ بَلَى إِنَّا لَنَقْرِضُ مِنْهُ الثَّوْبَ وَالْجِلْدَ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَقَدْ ارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُنَا فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِمَا قَالَتْ فَقَالَ صَدَقَتْ قَالَتْ فَمَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ يَوْمِئِذٍ إِلَّا قَالَ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ أَعِذْنِي مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ.
English Translation
Aisha narrated: "A Jewish woman entered upon me and said: 'The punishment of the grave is from urine.' I said: 'You are lying.' She said: 'Indeed, we cut the garment and skin from it (to avoid it).' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went out to pray, and our voices had risen. He said: 'What is this?' I told him what she said. He said: 'She spoke the truth.' From that day, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did not pray without saying at the end of the prayer: 'O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, protect me from the heat of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.'"
