حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَتُقَبِّلُ الصِّبْيَانَ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا نُقَبِّلُهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَمْلِكُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ نَزَعَ مِنْ قَلْبِكَ الرَّحْمَةَ.
English Translation
Aisha said: "A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, do you kiss children? By Allah, we do not kiss them.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'What can I do if Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, has removed mercy from your heart?'"
