English Translation
Aisha narrated: "We administered medicine (ladud) to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) during his illness. He gestured that we should not give him medicine. We said: 'It is just the sick person's dislike of medicine.' When he recovered, he said: 'Did I not forbid you from giving me medicine?' He said: 'None of you shall remain except that he will be given medicine, except al-Abbas, for he was not present with you.'"
