English Translation
Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade killing snakes that are in houses and ordered the killing of the short-tailed snake (abtar) and the one with two white stripes (dhu al-tufyatayn), saying: "They cause loss of sight and cause miscarriages. Whoever leaves them is not from me."
