حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ امْرَأَةٌ تَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا تَذْكُرُ مِنْ اجْتِهَادِهَا قَالَ فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الدِّينِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا دُووِمَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ قَلَّ.
English Translation
Aisha said: "A woman used to visit her and mention her extensive devotion in prayer. They mentioned that to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said: 'The most beloved religion to Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, is that which is practiced consistently, even if it is little.'"
