حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ وَبِيصَ الطِّيبِ وَقُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ السَّائِبِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ.
English Translation
Sufyan said: "I saw the glitter of perfume" - and it was read to Sufyan - "I heard Ata ibn al-Sa'ib from Ibrahim from al-Aswad from Aisha: (that the glitter of perfume could be seen) in the parting of the Messenger of Allah's (peace be upon him) hair after three (days)."
