English Translation
Aisha narrated: "The wife of Rifa'ah al-Qurazi came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: 'I was with Rifa'ah, and he divorced me irrevocably. Then I married Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Zubayr, but what he has is like the fringe of a garment.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) smiled and said: 'You want to go back to Rifa'ah? No, not until you taste his sweetness and he tastes your sweetness.' Abu Bakr was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and Khalid ibn Sa'id ibn al-As was at the door waiting for permission to enter. He heard her words and said: 'O Abu Bakr, do you not hear what this woman openly says before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?' And on another occasion he said: 'Do you see how this woman speaks indecently before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?'"
