English Translation
Waki' told us, from al-Nahhas, from Shaddad Abu Ammar, from Awf b. Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I and a dark, sun-marked woman will be in Paradise like these two — a woman who was widowed from her husband and kept herself back for her orphans until they grew up or died." Husayn told us, in the exegesis of Shayban, from Qatadah, who said: A companion of ours told us — I think it was Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali — from Awf b. Malik, and he mentioned it, saying, "between half of my Ummah entering Paradise." This is the end of the Musnad of Awf b. Malik al-Ansari, and it is the completion of the Musnad of the Ansar, may Allah be pleased with them.
