Arabic (Original)
قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْمُجَاهِدُ مَنْ جَاهَدَ نَفْسَهُ لِلَّهِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
English Translation
He said: And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The one who strives is he who strives against his own soul for the sake of Allah — or he said, in Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
