حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ حَنَشٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصْبَحَ صَائِمًا فَدَعَا بِشَرَابٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَمْ تُصْبِحْ صَائِمًا قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ قِئْتُ.
English Translation
Yahya bin Ishaq narrated to us, who said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Yazid bin Abi Habib, from Abu Marzuq, from Hanash, from Fadalah bin Ubayd, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, woke up fasting, then called for a drink. One of his companions said to him: O Messenger of Allah, did you not wake up fasting? He said: Yes, but I vomited.
