حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رُئِيَ بِالْعَرْجِ وَهُوَ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمَاءَ مِنْ الْحَرِّ أَوْ مِنْ الْعَطَشِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ.
English Translation
It was narrated, through one of the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was seen at al-'Arj pouring water over his head because of the heat, or the thirst, while he was fasting.
