English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "Whoever performs a full bath on the day of Jumu'ah, and applies perfume if he has any, and puts on his best clothing, then goes out until he reaches the mosque, prays if he wishes without disturbing anyone, then remains silent when his imam comes out until he finishes praying - that will be an expiation for what is between it and the next Jumu'ah." And elsewhere it is related that Abu Ayyub, companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "Whoever performs a full bath on the day of Jumu'ah..." with the addition, "then goes out with tranquility until he reaches the mosque."
