English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib informed us, from Arfajah, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that he mentioned Ramadan and said: In it the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of the Fire are closed, and the devils are shackled, and a caller cries out every night: O seeker of good, come forward! O seeker of evil, hold back! — until Ramadan comes to an end.
