English Translation
Abu Amir told us, Abbad - meaning Ibn Rashid - told us, from al-Hasan, from a man of Banu Salit, that he passed by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was sitting at the door of his mosque, reclining, wearing a cotton garment - he had no other garment besides it - and he was saying, "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim; he does not wrong him nor forsake him." Then he pointed with his hand to his chest, saying, "Piety is here, piety is here."
