حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ حَفْصَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَعَمْرَو بْنَ حَنَّةَ أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَعَنْ رِجَالٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَالنَّبِيُّ فِي مَجْلِسٍ قَرِيبٍ مِنْ الْمَقَامِ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَئِنْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَكَّةَ لَأُصَلِّيَنَّ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَإِنِّي وَجَدْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ هَاهُنَا فِي قُرَيْشٍ مُقْبِلًا مَعِي وَمُدْبِرًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَاهُنَا فَصَلِّ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ قَوْلَهُ هَذَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يَقُولُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَاهُنَا فَصَلِّ ثُمَّ قَالَ الرَّابِعَةَ مَقَالَتَهُ هَذِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْهَبْ فَصَلِّ فِيهِ فَوَالَّذِي بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا بِالْحَقِّ لَوْ صَلَّيْتَ هَاهُنَا لَقَضَى عَنْكَ ذَلِكَ كُلَّ صَلَاةٍ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ حَفْصَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَعَمْرَو بْنَ حَنَّةَ أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَهُ وَقَالَ هَاهُنَا فِي قُرَيْشٍ خَفِيرٌ لِي مُقْبِلًا وَمُدْبِرًا فَقَالَ هَاهُنَا فَصَلِّ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
English Translation
Abd ar-Razzaq told us: Ibn Jurayj informed us: Yusuf ibn al-Hakam ibn Abi Sufyan informed me that Hafs ibn Umar ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf and Amr ibn Hanna informed him, from Umar ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf and from men of the Ansar among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that a man of the Ansar came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of the Conquest [of Makka], while the Prophet was in a gathering near the Station [of Ibrahim], and he greeted the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then said, "O Prophet of Allah, I vowed that if Allah granted the Prophet and the believers victory over Makka, I would pray in Jerusalem (Bayt al-Maqdis); and I found a man of the people of Syria here among the Quraysh, coming with me and going with me." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Pray here. The man repeated his statement three times, and each time the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Pray here. Then he said it a fourth time, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Go and pray there; for by the One who sent Muhammad with the truth, had you prayed here, it would have counted for you as every prayer in Jerusalem. Muhammad ibn Bakr told us: Ibn Jurayj told us: Yusuf ibn al-Hakam ibn Abi Sufyan informed me that Hafs ibn Umar ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf and Amr ibn Hanna informed him, from Umar ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf, from a man of the Ansar among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that a man of the Ansar came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he mentioned it, and said, "Here among the Quraysh is a protector of mine, coming and going with me," and he said: Pray here - and he mentioned its like.
