English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Mansur, from Hilal ibn Yisaf, from al-Qasim ibn Mukhaymira, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: Whoever kills a man of the People of the Covenant (dhimmis) will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, or will not find the scent of Paradise - Mansur was uncertain [about the wording] - its scent is found from a distance of seventy years' travel.
