حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَحْسَابَ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الَّذِي يَذْهَبُونَ إِلَيْهِ هَذَا الْمَالُ.
English Translation
Zayd ibn al-Hubab told us: Husayn ibn Waqid told me: Abdullah ibn Buraydah told me, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The lineages that the people of this world resort to and pride themselves in - it is this wealth.
