حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا ضِرَارٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُرَّةَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ أَنْ تُمْسِكُوهَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَأَمْسِكُوهَا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ النَّبِيذِ إِلَّا فِي سِقَاءٍ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي الْأَسْقِيَةِ كُلِّهَا وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us: Dirar — that is, Ibn Murrah, Abu Sinan — narrated to us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, from 'Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'I forbade you from visiting graves, so [now] visit them. And I forbade you from keeping the meat of sacrificial animals beyond three days, so [now] keep it as long as you wish. And I forbade you from making nabidh [a fermented drink] except in a waterskin, so [now] drink from any container, but do not drink anything intoxicating.'
