English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us: The nephew of Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from his uncle, who said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hurmuz informed me, from 'Abdullah ibn Buhaynah — who was among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him — that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Did any of you recite along with me just now?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'I have been saying to myself, why am I being contended with over the Qur'an?' So the people stopped reciting along with him when he said that.
