English Translation
'Abd al-Wahhab ibn 'Ata' told us, al-Hasan ibn Dhakwan informed us, from 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Qays, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "The Substitutes in this nation are thirty, like Ibrahim, the close friend of the Most Merciful, Mighty and Majestic. Whenever one of them dies, Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, replaces him with another man in his place." His father, may Allah have mercy on him, said concerning it, meaning the hadith of 'Abd al-Wahhab: there is other wording besides this, and it is objectionable, meaning the hadith.
