حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, from Sufyan, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay', from Abdullah ibn Abi Qatada, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When one of you enters the mosque, let him not sit until he has prayed two rak'ahs.
