حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا قَالَ يَحْيَى وَزَادَ فِيهِ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No Muslim plants a tree or sows a crop from which a bird, a person, or an animal eats, except that it is counted as charity for him."
