حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْبَقِيعِ فِي ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ بِرَجُلٍ يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ.
English Translation
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to me, from Abu Qilabah, from Abu Asma' al-Rahabi, from Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by al-Baqi' on the eighteenth night of Ramadan and saw a man being cupped, and he said: "The one cupping and the one being cupped have both broken their fast."
