English Translation
Abu al-Nadr told us, al-Faraj told us, Luqman ibn Amir told us, who said: I heard Abu Umamah say: I said, "O Prophet of Allah, what was the very beginning of your matter?" He said: "The supplication of my father Ibrahim, and the glad tidings of Isa, and my mother saw that a light came forth from her that illuminated the palaces of Syria."
