English Translation
Wakee' told us, Khallad al-Saffar told us -- he heard it from Ubaydullah ibn Zahr, from Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Umamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful to sell singing-girls, nor to buy them, nor to trade in them, and consuming their price is forbidden."
