English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Khalid told us: Rabah told us, from Ma'mar, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Zayd ibn Sallam, from his grandfather, who said: I heard Abu Umamah say: A man asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: What is sin? He said: When something wavers in your soul, leave it. He said: What is faith? He said: When your bad deed grieves you and your good deed pleases you, then you are a believer.
