English Translation
Abdullah told us, my father told me, Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, from Sufyan, from Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Mu'adh, who said: Two men reviled one another in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and one of them grew angry, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed I know a word which, if he said it, his anger would leave him: 'I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.'"
