English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Amr ibn Abi Hakim, from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from Yahya ibn Ya'mar, from Abu al-Aswad al-Dili, who said: Mu'adh was in Yemen, and they brought before him a case about a Jew who had died leaving behind a Muslim brother. Mu'adh said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Islam increases and does not decrease — so he awarded him the inheritance.
