حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَبِيصَةَ بْنَ هُلْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الصَّدَقَةَ فَقَالَ لَا يَجِيئَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِشَاةٍ لَهَا يُعَارٌ.
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud — who is Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi — told us, Shu'bah told us, from Simak, who said: I heard Qabisah ibn Hulb narrate from his father that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned charity and said: Let none of you bring a bleating sheep.
