حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ قَالَ عُرِضَتْ النَّهْشَةُ مِنْ الْحَيَّةِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ بِهَا.
English Translation
'Affan told us, 'Abd al-Wahid b. Ziyad told us, 'Uthman b. Hakim told us: Abu Bakr b. 'Amr b. Hazm told me, from 'Amr b. Hazm, who said: The bite of a snake was presented to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him [for treatment by incantation], and he permitted it.
