حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي حَكَمٌ وَحَمَّادٌ سَمِعَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ.
English Translation
'Affan told us, Shu'bah told us: al-Hakam and Hammad informed me, they heard Ibrahim, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah b. Thabit, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he granted a concession of three days and their nights for the traveler, and a day and a night for the resident.
