حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ أَوْ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا وَمَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ لَهُ أَوْ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي فِي أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي شَيْئًا.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Abd al-Malik: Ata told us, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: 'Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break his fast will have, or it will be recorded for him, a reward like that of the fasting person, without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person; and whoever equips a fighter in the way of Allah will have, or it will be recorded for him, a reward like that of the fighter, in that nothing is diminished from the reward of the fighter.'
