حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ تُؤْخَذَ بِمِثْلِ خَرْصِهَا تَمْرًا يَأْكُلُهَا أَهْلُهَا رُطَبًا.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun told us: Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Nafi' ibn Umar, who said: Zayd ibn Thabit told me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, granted a concession regarding ariyyah, that it may be taken by its estimated equivalent in dry dates, while its owners eat it fresh.
