حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْمَرَ أَنَّ أَبَا الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَرْمِ رَجُلٌ رَجُلًا بِالْفِسْقِ وَلَا يَرْمِهِ بِالْكُفْرِ إِلَّا ارْتَدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ صَاحِبُهُ كَذَلِكَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us: my father told me: Husayn told me, he said: Ibn Buraida said: Yahya ibn Ya'mar told me that Abu al-Aswad told him, from Abu Dharr, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "No man accuses another of immorality or accuses him of disbelief, except that it rebounds upon him if his companion is not truly such."
