حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وُهْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ خَالَفَ الْجَمَاعَةَ شِبْرًا خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ.
English Translation
Abdullah told us: Ahmad ibn Muhammad told us: Abu Bakr — meaning Ibn Ayyash — told us, from Mutarrif, from Abu al-Jahm, from Khalid ibn Wuhban, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever departs from the community by a hand's span has removed the yoke of Islam from his neck."
