English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan told us, from al-Mughirah ibn al-Nu'man: Abd Allah ibn Yazid ibn al-Aqna' al-Bahili told us: al-Ahnaf ibn Qays told us, who said: I was in Medina, and there was a man from whom the people fled when they saw him. I said: Who are you? He said: I am Abu Dharr, the companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I said: What makes the people flee from you? He said: I forbid them from hoarding treasures with the same prohibition that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to forbid them.
