English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us; and Hajjaj said: I heard Shu'bah, from Abu Mas'ud, from Abu Abd Allah al-Jasri, from Abd Allah ibn al-Samit, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "The most beloved speech to Allah is that the servant says, 'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him.'" Hajjaj said: He asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about the deed most beloved to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic - or the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most beloved speech to Allah is 'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him.'"
