English Translation
Attab ibn Ziyad told us, Abdullah informed us, Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri: Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman told me, from Marwan ibn al-Hakam, from Abdullah ibn al-Aswad ibn Abd Yaghuth, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, in poetry there is wisdom." Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak said: Ma'mar narrated to me the same, except that he put "Urwa" in place of "Abu Bakr."
