English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Ajlah, Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza told us, from his father, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah, blessed and exalted, has commanded me to present the Qur'an to you." He said: "And has my Lord, blessed and exalted, named me to you?" He said: "By the bounty of Allah and by His mercy — so in that let them rejoice." Thus Ubayy recited it.
