English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Idris told us, who said: I heard al-A'mash narrate from Shaqiq, from Khabbab, who said: We emigrated with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and among us some died without having eaten anything of their reward. Among them was Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr, who left nothing but a striped cloak; when they covered his head with it, his feet showed, and when we covered his feet, his head showed. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, told us: "Cover his head," and we put idhkhir grass over his feet. He said: And among us were some whose fruits had ripened, and he is gathering them.
