حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَشَبَهَهَا.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah informed us from Simak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samurah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite in the noon and afternoon prayers "By the Sky Possessing the Great Stars," and "By the Sky and the Night Visitor," and similar chapters.
