حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ لَيْلَةَ الْخَمِيسِ فَيَشْرَبُهُ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَيَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ وَيَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فَإِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَإِنْ بَقِيَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ سَقَاهُ الْخَدَمَ أَوْ أَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُهْرِيقَ.
English Translation
Nabidh would be prepared for the Prophet (peace be upon him) on Thursday night, and he would drink it on Thursday, Friday, and — I think he said — Saturday. When the afternoon came, if any of it remained, he would give it to the servants to drink or he would order it poured out.
