حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرْتُ بِرَكْعَتَيْ الضُّحَى وَبِالْوَتْرِ وَلَمْ يُكْتَبْ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'I was commanded to pray the two rak'ahs of Duha and the Witr, but they were not made obligatory (in writing).'
