حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكُونُ بَعْدِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ فَأَتَتْهُ قُرَيْشٌ فَقَالُوا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ مَاذَا قَالَ ثُمَّ يَكُونُ الْهَرْجُ.
English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'There will be after me twelve caliphs, all of them from Quraysh.' Then he returned to his house, and Quraysh came to him and said: 'Then what will happen?' He said: 'Then there will be turmoil and killing.'
