English Translation
The riding companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated that the Prophet was riding a donkey when it stumbled. The one behind him said: 'May the devil perish!' The Prophet said: 'Do not say may the devil perish, for when you say may the devil perish, he swells with pride and says: By my might, I brought him down. But when you say Bismillah (In the name of Allah), he shrinks until he becomes like a fly.'
