English Translation
Affan told us, Mubarak ibn Fadalah told us, from al-Hasan, Abu Bakrah informed me, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray, and when he prostrated, al-Hasan would jump onto his back and his neck, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would raise himself gently so that he would not fall. He said: He did that more than once. When he finished his prayer, they said: "O Messenger of Allah, we saw you do with al-Hasan something we have never seen you do." He said: "He is my sweet basil from this world, and this son of mine is a noble leader, and perhaps Allah, Blessed and Exalted, will reconcile through him two factions of the Muslims."
