English Translation

Rawh narrated to us: 'Uthman al-Shahham narrated to us: Muslim b. Abi Bakra narrated to us — and he was asked whether he had heard anything about the Khawarij — and he said: I heard my father Abu Bakra say, from the Prophet of God, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, there will emerge from my nation people, headstrong, sharp-tongued in reciting the Qur'an, which will not pass beyond their collarbones. When you see them, put them down; then when you see them, put them down; whoever kills them will be rewarded."
