English Translation
Ali ibn Asim told us: Khalid al-Hadhdha informed me, from Abu Qilabah, from Amr ibn Salamah, who said: The riders used to come to us from the direction of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we would ask them to recite [what they knew of the Qur'an], and they would relate that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let the one among you with the most Qur'an lead you in prayer."
