حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَوَادَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا رَاعٍ اسْتُرْعِيَ رَعِيَّةً فَغَشَّهَا فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us: Sawadah ibn Abi al-Aswad told us, from his father, from Ma'qil ibn Yasar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any shepherd who is entrusted with a flock and betrays it will be in the Fire."
