English Translation
Abdullah told us: Shayban told us: Abu al-Ashhab told us, from Hammad ibn Abi Sulayman al-Kufi, who said: I saw al-Mughirah ibn Abdullah having bound his teeth with gold. The same was mentioned to Ibrahim, and he said: "There is no harm in it." Abdullah Abu Abd al-Rahman told us: I heard my father say: Some people among the students of hadith came and sought permission to see Abu al-Ashhab, and he permitted them. They said: "Narrate to us." He said: "Ask me [something]." They said: "We have nothing to ask you about." Then his daughter said from behind the curtain: "Ask him about the hadith of Arfajah ibn As'ad, whose nose was injured on the Day of al-Kulab."
